  • Education is a basic Human Right and the Diaspora World Cup global school program focuses its energy in some the poorest countries around the world. We build schools in some of the poorest countries around the worldthat historically had no adequate school structure. Any member of the World Diaspora has the power to end illiteracy around the world through the power of soccer.
  • High-profile sport figures, global leaders, business leaders, political figure, journalists, activists, philanthropists, actors, and entrepreneurs united by their commitment to the Diaspora World Cup mission to eradicate illiteracy around the world through the power of soccer. They serve as role models and spread the Diaspora World Cup vision and commitment of a world mobilized through soccer.

Throughout the year, we come together in solidarity to celebrate members of the Diaspora Global Initiative movement and share how we unite people through the Diaspora World Cup and Global Education to ignite a more equitable future. Our mission is to break the cycle of illiteracy, and high expectations through the power of the soccer game education. We mobilize people of the Diaspora and soccer enthusiasts to transform their communities and improve the world by building schools in developing countries.
It was an honor for The Diaspora Global Initiative to host The Honorable Ambassador of Albania to the United States, Mrs. Floreta Faber. During her speech, Mrs. Faber emphasized the role the soccer game can potentially play for children in terms of agility, balance, coordination, and most importantly education. Moreover, the Ambassador acknowledged perhaps more than any other sport, soccer is being used as a catalyst for positive change all over the world including in her homeland of Albania.
